Harry T. Wilks, whose $5 million gift led to the creation of the Wilks Institute, was appointed to a 9-year term on the Miami University Board of Trustees.
The Wilks Institute's Acting Locally program received a full page writeup in the Miami Student's January 18 edition.
The Hamilton Journal-News editorial profiled students involved in the Acting Locally program on January 14, commending the students' work to relieve tensions between Hamilton's Hispanic residents and other members of the Hamilton community.
