Harry T Wilks Leadership Institute

During his visit to Miami University, Harry Wilks presented His Holiness the Dalai Lama with an International Leadership Award in honor of his efforts for peace and adherence to ethical leadership. The award was presented at a special ceremony with the Dalai Lama Thursday morning in Hall Auditorium. As it was presented, Wilks noted that the Dalai Lama is one of few people to "bring compassion, peace, and understanding between different races, cultures, and religions."
