Curtis White

Curtis White is the author of a new work of social criticism titled The Spirit of Disobedience, recently published by PoliPointPress. His publication history is lengthy, including another book of social criticism titled The Middle Mind, and nine books of fiction and nonfiction including Monstrous Possibility, Requiem, Memories of My Father Watching TV, and The Idea of Home, published by Dalkey Archive Press. This January Ben Kuebrich met with author Curtis White in a noisy coffee shop in Normal, Illinois to talk about the current state of capitalism, Christianity, the role of the social critic, and how writing will keep you alive.
