Mani Rao

Mani Rao is the author of seven poetry books and has been published in Wasafiri, Meanjin, Washington Square, Fulcrum, and WestCoastLine among other journals. Her work also appears in anthologies including Zoland Poetry (2007) and Norton’s forthcoming Contemporary Voices of the Eastern World.  She was Visiting Fellow at the Iowa International Writing Program in 2005 and won the 2006 University of Iowa International Programs writer-in-residence fellowship.  In Hong Kong, she was co-founder of OutLoud and contributed a poetry segment to Radio4 RTHK.
