Margaret Luongo Reading
Tuesday, September 9th, at 8 pm in the Leonard Theater in Peabody Hall, Miami's very own Margaret Luongo will kick off the fall fiction series. She will be reading from her just-published first collection of stories, IF THE HEART IS LEAN. Professor Luongo has published stories in Tin House, Fence, Cincinnati Review and other journals. Her debut collection, published by LSU Press, was described by novelist Brock Clark as, “...beautiful, inspired, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes uplifting, but always moving in the extreme.”
