The U-Lead Adventure is an annual leadership institute for first year students. U-Lead introduces first year students to Miami's Leadership Values through a series of small group sessions and low-ropes initiatives, facilitated by current students and staff. Participants also have the opportunity to challenge themselves on a canoeing trip and take part in a service project.

During this experience we will:

Think critically and take time to reflect
Be flexible and open to change
Take purposeful risks and learn from success and/or failure
Be responsible for our actions
Communicate directly, honestly, and with civility
See potential within ourselves
Respect the dignity and potential of others
Understand and serve the needs of others

U-Lead Fees

The $200 U-Lead trip fee covers early arrival move-in fees, food, and trip-related activities. If you participate in this experience, your Bursar bill will be charged the $200 U-Lead trip fees.

Cancellation Policy

After completing the form below and receiving confirmation from the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, if you need to cancel your reservation for U-Lead you must contact Danielle Reid, the U-Lead Coordinator, at reiddt2@muohio.edu by August 1.
