Miami Bound

Miami Bound consists of an on-campus leadership institute, an introduction to volunteerism at Miami, and two off-campus adventure trips that new students can choose to attend during the days leading up to residence move-in day. Miami Bound participants arrive on campus early to participate in their selected program, and have the opportunity to meet other new students, interact with faculty and staff, work with a campus department, and get a jump start on their adjustment to life as a Miami student.

Each Miami Bound experience has a fee to cover materials and services for that program. In most cases, fees for Miami Bound experiences will be added to participants' bursar accounts. Need-based scholarships are available for the MU Volunteers program.

Students can register to attend only one Miami Bound experience.
Students should read, understand, and agree to the Miami Bound fee and cancellation policy information on each Miami Bound registration form.
