Welcome New Students!

Congratulations on your admission to Miami University. We are excited that you have join our Miami community. The Office of New Student Programs serves as a central resource for first-year students. We assist first-year students and their family members in transitioning to Miami University. Our Office coordinates 16 one-and-a-half day long Summer Orientation programs for first year students and their family members in June. Confirmed domestic first year students can register to attend an Orientation session through their myMiami portal (https://mymiami.miamioh.edu). In addition to the Summer Orientation programs, the Office of New Student Programs provides welcome events in August before the start of fall semester and 1-credit optional transition courses for first-year students.
